Since its inception in 1967, Vanport Manufacturing, Inc. has been committed to excellence in lumber processing and exporting, particularly for the Japanese market. This dedication to quality culminated in the construction of a Traditional Teahouse between 1980 and 1982, built next to our Boring office.
The Teahouse was created not only to showcase Vanport’s products but also to embody our commitment to traditional craftsmanship and quality. Every piece of lumber was meticulously selected, and each joint expertly crafted, resulting in a structure that exemplifies our unwavering dedication to excellence.
